Bling It Up!

I have the bad habit of not always checking out the details...Scrap Addict's Attic had a "Bling It Up" challenge and...well the deadline was 7a.m. not 7p.m....oops. Either way it was a fun way to bling up a few X-Mas cards.

CC Focus Group Challenge

Here is my Crop Chocolate FG challenge entry. The challenge was to use 4 items from Crop Chocolate...and they are my wonderful "slice" basic shapes, Echo Park "Happy Halloween" paperpack and trims by Making Memories "toil & trouble" and a deco pin from the "spook ally" trims...Happy Halloween!

PPC Challenge #54

Well it has been a while since I have participated in a challenge but I loved the colors of this weeks challenge at PPC. Here is the color challenge:

Prints, Prints, Prints (CFTA)

The "Challenge" here was to use three different prints...since I tend to be a "plain Jane" scrapbooker this one was most definitely a challenge for me. Here is my 3 print b-day card for my baby girl who is going to be 21!

Flowers Challenge (CFTA)

I worked on this last time I spent a day in the "Attic", but when I brought it home my grandson decided it needed a little bling, bling so I traced the edges in glue and dipped in glitter! These are made from old round document mailers, that Paula then cut to size (Thanks P!)....a perfect example of reusing something.

The Scrap Addict's Attic

One of my favorite things to do is spend a day with my friend Paula in the Scrap Addict's Attic.  This weekend we worked on many projects, but one of my favorites was simply dressing up some recycled jars (hand me downs from Paula) for my scrap shelf (created by Paula's hubby, a person never goes home empty handed after a day in the "Attic").

Someone asked me what  people see in Scrap booking. Paula and I both came up with the same conclusion, its all about preserving memories (laughing & hanging out with girlfriend's is a lot of fun too). If Arkansas is a bit out of the way, you can also play along at Challenges From The Attic.
